HEY!
Okay, apologies for the fast letter. We don't have a whole lot of time!
This week has been wonderful! We have visited almost all of the less-actives on our area list, and updated it a WHOLE lot. Many of them have moved but updating it will make the work much easier for future missionaries here and for the rest of our less-active work. We started meeting with a couple of them too! We visited one less-active sister in her barbershop and found ourselves sitting and talking with her and two other old grandmas as we peeled and ate chestnuts. I could barely understand one of them, but they were so cute. The less-active had to go boil and soften the chestnuts so they could eat them.
We still haven't been able to meet a lot of investigators yet, but the big tests will be ending this week so we can start meeting with the students soon. We are excited! We already have a couple appointments set up for the day after testing ends. We are especially excited to meet with one of our recent converts and her friend. We already call and talk with the friend quite often, and we are excited to start the lessons.
Goodness, our Young Women are incredible in Pohang. The Preach My Gospel class that we are teaching them is so much fun. We are also meeting one of them every week to help her prepare for missionary work. She is the one that has made a goal to have one of her friends be baptized soon. They are awesome!
Thank you so much for all of the birthday wishes! It has meant so much to me. It was a great weekend. We had a really good set of meetings at church and the members were so nice. Afterwards we went out and did some good proselyting with the sticker board and met some really good people. And then we went to a meal appointment with a member family that turned into a birthday dinner and them teaching me their Korean herbal secrets to perfect skin and health. Priceless. I was seriously taking notes. The Spirit was so strong when we shared our message too. The parents' testimonies were the best part. They bore their testimonies about the power of faith and encouraged their children to make a goal of getting a baptism before Christmas, when I go home. They were really excited. I love that family.
Ah, I am out of time. I will do more updating next week!
I love you so much!!!
