This is going to be a short one, sorry.
Okay, sad news first. "PYJ" has been doing really well and even came to church last week, but then when we texted her on Friday she told us that we couldn't meet anymore. Her mom had heard some weird rumors about the church and told her she couldn't meet us anymore. I guess that they fought about it quite a bit. We were able to meet her one last time for ice cream, and we could tell that she really is sad and wants to keep meeting and learning. We testified that if she keeps praying and reading the Book of Mormon, that she will really come to know that these things are true and will find so much happiness. She promised us that she will try, and also said she will try to meet with us again soon just for some food or something. I love that girl so much. I really wanted to punch Satan after that.
We met with the wonderful recent convert again who had dropped off the face of the earth. She is AWESOME. She wanted to start studying the Book of Mormon with us every week, so when we met her on Friday, she came in and told us, "Let me organize my notes really quick." She then went through and restudied everything she had read (she read about a chapter a day and a little more), and wrote down notes and things she wanted to ask about. After that we had a fantastic discussion. I can tell she is really starting to think deep and apply it. IT WAS SO FUN. We also met with her again the next day to all eat dinner together at a fancy restaurant with our Branch Missionary Leader. She even came to a little activity we had Sunday night! She's awesome.
Transfers! Sister Han is going to Gumi in Daegu (jealous) and I am staying in Shinjeong! I will miss her a lot, but she is going to be doing great things in other areas. The sister coming in is another native Korean. She is ADORABLE. Seriously. If you looked up cute in the dictionary you'd find her. Actually, when I was a Sister Training Leader in Jinju, I went on her first exchange as a trainee. She is a really good missionary. We'll be the Sister Training Leaders again in the Ulsan Zone. I am so excited for this transfer!
Sorry, this is a super short email, but we got back late from Busan and don't have a lot of time. I'll just send this off and do some more pics next week!
I love you!
