Hello!!!
I am sorry for the short email this week, but we got back from HANBOK SHOPPING and didn't have too much time.
It has been a wonderful week. I have really just been so happy this week, and have been so blessed. I am loving each day more and more, and it is a wonderful feeling to wake up in the morning (and once I get over wanting to stay lying on the floor) to feel so excited to go out and do good.
General Conference was INCREDIBLE. I felt specific thoughts for investigators come to my mind, prayers answered, and felt peace and God's love for me. Can we just do that every month? Please? I also loved seeing the new apostles called. It was super cool to feel the Spirit testifying to me when they spoke that they are true prophets, seers and revelators and that they were called of God. THIS CHURCH IS JUST SO DARN COOL.
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! I am so glad to hear that you had an awesome day! You are the best. I was just super happy to hear about what you did and the awesome fajita pan. Dad is a wise man.
On Saturday, we got a new investigator! We were watching conference and got a text from the girl we met last week and wanted to meet with us. She wanted to come to English class that day, and was at the church RIGHT THEN. Two hours early. Okay. Sounds good! It was a blessed day, because the young women from our branch were just happening to be having an activity then, and their leader invited us all to come out to lunch with them. We did, and our potential investigator, Song Min So, really connected with the girls. She actually ended up skipping English class and just staying with them for the whole activity. Hooray! After the activity, we grabbed her and the girls and shared a quick Mormon Message with her and did a mini lesson. She agreed to meet with us again for other lessons! (Although I think right now all she really cares about is being with the young women. Oh well! We'll see!)
We have done a lot of proselyting as well this week. I am really liking it now, especially when we are with the Elders or with our district. We had two new Elders added to our district this transfer, and one of them just came in this last week! Super fun. He was in the group at the MTC that I helped welcome and showed around the the MTC.
Anyway, I am pretty much out of time, but it has been an awesome week! I'll share more of my experiences next time. I love you all so much!!! I love this gospel!
